February in VSC

Jai Maa Sadasya’s,

We all just received our monthly bulletin email and I am filled with gratitude for the teachings, celebrations and honoring that we have ahead of us!  What a gift it is to have so much shakti and abundance in our kula to provide such offerings for our spiritual evolution. This is a testament to the foundation and ancient river of knowledge that our kula/sangha has cultivated for hundreds of years due to the dedication of our Teacher and her teacher's teacher, and the legacy of Guru’s who walked the Vedic way to keep the janam/wisdom alive for the opportunity to be alleviated from our own suffering and to live in the essence of your divine Atman.  Baba’s teachings are so alive in our Teacher and Vedic light is shining so brightly and illuminating the Truth, the satyam of THAT~our spiritual connectedness, JAI MAA!

Each year as a sadasya, in the beginning of February, I’m in deep processing of the Three Stages of Gradual Awakening (Sovereign Self, p.135) which are shravanam, manamam and nidhidhyasanam.  These three core Vedic concepts that Acharya Shunya ji addresses often in her teachings are at the forefront of my personal contemplations today as I mindfully prepare to receive this month’s offerings.

My hridaya, my sacred heart and mind connection feels so attuned, inspired and radiant as I listen and read my teacher's words, as I reflect on my journey awakening to my true Self, as I am one with the restful home within~our lineage reminds me that my Atman is so free and ever present.

As we get ready to embark on Karma Yoga teachings, our dharma, and living a spiritually empowered life, I am reminded of this quote by Acharya Shunya ji  “My true nature offers me limitless opportunities for self-renewal.  Simply by living consciously through the art of an inspired lifestyle, I will experience my inherent perfection.” (Ayurveda Lifestyle Wisdom p. 47)

I look forward to being together as a kula during these auspicious times, JAI MAA!
