Jai Maa and Jai Guru Deva!
We will be completing our final session of the Bhaja Govindam companion study this Saturday, June 6th, at 8:00am Pacific Time at the Zoom link below. You can also click directly on the link via the Member Portal 'All Sessions and Zoom Links' page.
On this final class we will pick up the theme of Mukti or the Liberation of the Self. May we soon be free from this strange Samsara! Join me tomorrow as we focus on VERSES 19, 21, 24, 31, 32, 33.
We will also have a final contemplation circle together, to share our experiences over the last year that we have spent together with the Bhaja Govindam. If you've been studying along, its an auspicious moment to honor and join the discussion.
If you missed our last session, we talked about the value of seeking the Ultimate Truth - Tattva Jnanam. You can find that recording uploaded to our YouTube channel in the Bhaja Govindam Companion Series playlist. If you have not yet experienced Acharya Shunya's original Bhaja Govindam teachings, please enjoy this Complete Bhaja Govindam of Adi Shankaracharya playlist.

Jai Maa,
After the session this weekend I really feel in my heart that desire to not come back and keep suffering in samsara. This morning in meditation I found a sticky, old, and deeply embedded attachment whose grip I could feel strongly. It felt as though it was pulling me down and away from the knowledge and embodied sense of my divine atman/brahman self. It felt like a tug of war with my ankara/ego trying to pull me away from liberation. In that moment I asked Ma to please relieve me of this pull to stay in samasara because I do not want to come back and repeat this suffering. The attachment still feels present and strong but asking Maa for help created a small lightness in my heart. The possibility of something different. I also realized that this attachment is likely related to a past life karma and the best way then is to not create more karma by belittling myself. I am grateful for the teachings. Jai Gurudev
