In this episode, Acharya Shunya shares her practice of remembering the fundamental teachings of the Veda, by connecting with the Divine Oneness as G.O.D. - the Great Omniscient Dimension. When we do so, we unravel our limited conception of the divine as something with form and name and cultural identity, and begin to relate to the Knower of the field of experience. Not with our trained mind, but rather 'through the sky of your heart...where Infinity dwells'.
I especially appreciated a verse from the Bhagavad Gita that Acharya Shunya shares in this episode which says that 'Ishwara dwells in the hearts of all beings and causes them to move like puppets in the wheel, through the power of Maya.' (Bhagavad Gita, Ch18,61) Meaning that each of us live our life as though we operate on the power of our identity and mind, but really, what is moving us through all of our experiences is this hidden power of the Self within.
Maybe you're like me, and find yourself ready to stop trying to micromanage the uncontrollable with your heated mind. Its time then to call out to that great Oneness that is holding everything. Not to our individual ideas and image of what god looks like, sounds like, talks like, but that force that is the power and the stillness beyond all of the frantic experiences and within our own heart.
