Sketches of Gita Verses...

As I sit with the Focus Verses and the other verses Acharya Shunya has mentioned in the slides in the Karma Yoga series: I read the verse a few times, sit with each word, re-read my notes from the session, sit in silence and let it reverberate within me, then I find an idea for a symbolic line drawing comes up. It feels like these are the simplest summaries of my current understanding of what the verse is telling me, and I like to draw them in my notebook.
They aren't really meant for anyone else to understand, but a small way of summing up my understanding. Then I write a few lines or key words that have come through for me out of the little sketch.
This has become a playful, creative, joyful study practice.
How are you keeping coming back to the verses?

How sweet and generous of you to share these joyful sketches, notes and contemplations with us 🙏✍🏼🤔💖
I keep coming back to the verses most days by re-watching the videos and contemplating the verses, slides and images and taking notes. I’m taking lots of notes as it seems most things Acharya Ahunya ji says are note worthy and often profound. Just writing out what she is saying helps me to contemplate and internalize it. For now, these long hand notes are satisfying and help me feel connected to the knowledge and its deeper meanings. Jai Maa Jai Guru Deva🪷
