Shunyaji's message
I have watched Shunyaji's recording a couple of times now and each time I listen to it, I find a deeper meaning in it. Having a teacher who walks the path with steadiness, firmness, authenticity and unwavering conviction is a blessing. Following her role modelling in this samsara is also very grounding.
I really appreciate how organically our spiritual learning is unfolding. It is never forced or as our teacher says performative. It is like a beautiful flower blooming under right conditions and taking a pause when the nature or seasonal changes do not allow.
This also gives each one of us an opportunity to take responsibility for our own spiritual growth and support our teacher by walking the path she has kindly provided for us.
This week I was going through Shunyaji's Sadhana Panchakam teachings. There is one deep, beautiful and meaningful quote from her that I want to share with you all;
" For a thought to become a wave, for a wave to become a substance and a substance to become a steady material entity, requires collective effort not just a wish."
I think seeing our teacher in active karma yoga and following her lead, help our sangha to go beyond a wish and actually make each one of us more active in this collective flourishing of wisdom. Though our ultimate wish is to know our true self, the way leading to the realization of that wish requires this mindful, gentle and collective effort.
Holding Tataji and Shunyaji's uncle in my heart with reverence and gratitude.🌼
