Guru Purnima felt like the deep peace and joy of Christmas
Jai Maa, Jai Guru Dev,
Thank you community of devotees for being here. You are the raft that floats me through rough waters.
I want to share a blessing that happened for me. I hope in sharing it, it supports you!
The night before Guru Purnima I began to have the strong sense of Christmas Eve. It was so profound that I told my roommate, it feels like Christmas Eve. I was not equating this with Guru Purnima. I thought, maybe it was the cold weather, or the smell of the biscuits he made that were evoking this. I marveled at the gentle depth and silence and joy I was perceiving as if in anticipation. This feeling continued all through the night and the entire day and night of Guru Purnima. I had decide to declare my discipleship a few days prior.
This morning although my meditation was wonderful I noticed that this specific feeling had lifted.
I realized. Ahhh this was the gift of Guru Purnima! It did feel like Christmas that time of the Christ consciousness birthing with us! That deep peace and silent night that comes when we unite with the G.O.D. within.
If I needed a confirmation that I had made the right decision, to become a disciple of Acharya Shunya, and a small part of me did, then this was an incredible gift! I am so grateful for it!
And I am grateful to have been taught sadhana of early morning rising and contemplative meditation to have been able to “catch” this gift in my awareness.
Om Ishvaraya Namah!
Jai Maa

Such a sweet story and sharing Anne, thank you! I find each and every Guru Purnima to be as exciting, profound and peaceful as my first experience.
