The Impact of Yajna

The Impact of Yajna

Jai Maa. Jai Guru Dev-

The yajna teachings from Acharya Shunya, enriched by the additional insights and practices from Sadhvi Ishani and Sadhvi Aparna, have had a deeply transformative impact on me. I've moved beyond a basic understanding of yajna's spiritual and material roles to a profound appreciation of its governing influence on natural cycles, human interactions, and dharmic living. The slides of the apple tree and the cow’s giving were such clear examples that stay with me.  Yajna’s contributions to environmental health and its power to foster collaborative consciousness throughout the universe are now strikingly clear, revealing it as an indispensable way of life for humanity.

What has most powerfully altered my everyday perspective is the realization that yajna represents the highest form of action, operating simultaneously on cosmic, material, and spiritual planes to ensure comprehensive harmony. Rather than feel resentment, displeasure or lack of motivation in daily tasks I feel almost a giddiness in these tasks as offerings to Ishvara. Even when I inadvertently falter, with E.G.O. stepping up—through ill-chosen words or actions—I discern the subtle distancing from yajna, offer that experience to the divine, and consciously guide myself back to align with G.O.D. as Sadhvi Ishani and Sadhvi Aparna led us to do.

I feel a new calm presence, an openness to readily listen, and to love in service to the divine. Yajna, I now understand, is about the intricate alignment of all life's energy through cooperation and synchronization. I, now, feel this pervasive sense of collaboration resonating in my heart and mind, and coloring my own life. From feeling like a loner and separate from others, this sense of collaboration has filled me with a new sense of purpose. It’s not about what’s in it for me, it is a heartfelt fullness and readiness to offer myself fully to life.

With deep gratitude to all for sharing the teachings and tools for growth on this path!
