Jai MAA! I am ever grateful to be a student of my teacher and a part of this community. My name is Aparna and I have been studying with Acharya Shunya since 2009, and teaching in her classrooms for the last decade. Reading your shares reminds me of the magical alchemy of how I found Acharya ji as well - at the perfect time, in a way I couldn't have dreamed, revealing an ocean of wisdom I hoped existed, but hadn't yet experienced.

The beauty of all of these teachings is that they make up individual facets of one complete Truth. Like many of you, Acharya Shunya's Goddess teachings, with their focus on the ways in which we can embrace universal aspects of Self through archetypes of divine feminine shakti, have specifically helped me to open my heart-mind, soften my ego, and firm up my inner conviction. Studying Ayurveda at Vedika Global gave me the knowledge not only to facilitate my own health and wellbeing and support others, but also deeply supported my mind and intellect through profound life challenges - to keep on going and growing. All of her Yoga teachings have polished my craggy inner landscape - from more familiar Upasana Yoga practices, to years of applied Karma Yoga teachings and seva, to this year's incredible Bhakti Yoga teachings that have soothed an inner aching I didn't know I held. And throughout all of it, Jnana Yoga, the light of shastra - shining brightly with the promise of Self.

I am grateful to get to study with our teacher, to have access to this living teacher, in this human lifetime, while I still have ears to hear and capacity to contemplate and ability to live this wisdom. I'm also grateful to have this growing community of other brave seekers of Self to learn from and share and witness. Welcome new members, and hello Dear Ones.
