What Is the Vedic Study Circle?
The Vedic Study Circle is not a class. It is a sanctuary.
A place where ancient wisdom is not just studied, but remembered. Where seekers from around the world gather to explore the Vedas, the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita — and the Self behind them all.
In the Vedic Study Circle, guidance flows from teacher to seeker — not in quick fixes, but in living presence. Through verse, through silence, through clarity. This is how real yoga returns.
There are no barriers here. No forms to fill. No need to perform. Only the quiet fire of sincerity, and a willingness to walk the path.
Rooted in an unbroken lineage, and guided by those who have lived these teachings for decades, the Circle welcomes you — as you are.
Now Open: Karma Yoga 2025
Join when your heart feels ready. This path of sacred action — guided by Acharya Shunya — invites you to live with presence, purpose, and inner alignment.

This is how we study:
From Yogic Asana
to Yogic Awakening:
To Know the Self is the Practice.
Sit. Listen. Remember:
Your Self Was Never Lost.
Unbroken Wisdom.
Undiluted Teachings.
Self, as It Is.
This is Not Modern Yoga:
This is the Eternal Path.
The Real Yoga Begins
Here: Sit Down. Wake Up.

The Four Pillars of Our Circle

Scripture-based
We study the original source texts — the Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita — verse by verse, slowly and reverently. No summaries. No shortcuts.
Lineage-led
Our teachings are guided by Acharya Shunya and supported by Sadhvis and Sadhyas who have walked this path for decades. This is wisdom held and passed on in trust.
Global Sangha
From over 21 countries and all walks of life — across color, gender, and belief — seekers gather in sacred fellowship, united by a shared longing for truth.
Service Based
Our teachings are offered as an act of sacred service — to alleviate suffering, awaken truth, and share light. Though supported by donations, no one is turned away. There are no paywalls, no prerequisites, and no seeker left behind.

These ten offerings form the foundation of your journey. They are freely accessible to all, and serve as gateways into deeper truth: through devotion, action, contemplation, ritual, movement, lifestyle, and more.

Meet the Teachers
Each of our teachers has been trained in a living lineage, walking this path for over a decade. They embody the wisdom they share — not just through study, but through a way of life.
Alongside Acharya Shunya, the Vedic Study Circle is guided by Sadhvis — householder monks who have walked this path for over 15 years. Rooted in deep Vedic study, they offer instruction, mentorship, and a living example of dharma.
They are joined by Sadhyas — longtime disciples recognized for their spiritual maturity. While not monks, they offer steady support through reflection, guidance, and lived wisdom.
Together, they uphold the lineage and walk beside you on the path to the Self.

As a computer engineer, I was skeptical when my wife introduced me to Acharya Shunya’s teachings in 2010. But it quickly became clear—this wisdom was unlike anything I’d encountered.
Her ability to bridge ancient Vedic truth with modern life brought clarity to both my personal and professional world. I now call her my teacher too. The teachings are deep, practical, and worth every effort to integrate.

Awaken. Don’t Stay Hypnotized.
In the Vedic tradition, a sincere seeker is known as a Sadasya — not a religious label, but a conscious choice.
A Sadasya is someone who chooses to awaken rather than stay lulled by illusion — someone who is ready to remember who they truly are.
Becoming a member of the Vedic Study Circle isn’t about signing up.
It’s about showing up — for your Self, for truth, for a path that lives and breathes.
This is not a program. It’s a return

Four faces. One flame.
Lit by the same longing, returning to the Self.
Sadasya: A Sacred Choice
A Sadasya is not a religious title.
It simply means: one who chooses to belong — to a sacred learning family.
As a Sadasya of the Vedic Study Circle, you are not just joining a community.
You are entering a living stream of wisdom, guided by Acharya Shunya and rooted in the 2,000-year-old Sarayu Parampara — the ancient Guru–Shishya tradition, alive today.
This path is walked with intention and grace — toward inner awakening, dharma, and Self-remembrance.
Not alone, but together.

In this circle, you're not just signing up.
You're stepping into a sacred field of relationship — where wisdom ripens, hearts awaken, and the Self is remembered… together.
In Sangha, We Rise Together
Not just seekers — companions on the path
This is not a solo path.
This is Sangha — a living field of truth, where we rise together, fall together, and remember the Self together.

A Community That Reflects You Back to Yourself. Through satsang and shared study, blind spots dissolve and truth lands deeper.

Rooted Guidance, Not Social Media Advice
Support comes from lineage-trained Sādhvīs, Sādhyas, and long-term seekers — not algorithms.

We Stay With the Fire
While others move on to the next thing, we stay. We study. We live the teachings. Together.

Belonging that transforms.
Not community as a trend — but as a mirror, a refuge, a practice. You’re not just welcome. You’re needed.

You Don’t Have to Walk Alone
Real spiritual growth happens in relationship — with teachers, with peers, with sacred accountability.
A Gift-Supported Offering
This Circle is sustained by voluntary giving — from the heart, not from obligation.
All donations are tax-deductible through our 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Vedika Global.
The Nonprofit That Makes This Possible
The Vedic Study Circle (VSC) is lovingly offered through Vedika Global, Inc., a California-based 501(c)(3) non-profit founded by Acharya Shunya, who serves as its spiritual head and is the honored lineage-holder of the 2,000-year-old Sarayu Parampara.
Though hosted on Acharya Shunya’s website, the Vedic Study Circle is a non-commercial, community-supported offering from Vedika Global. Each year, over ten core programs are made available at no cost, sustained through dakshina— the sacred tradition of voluntary giving from the heart.
At times, optional public offerings may carry a set tuition or suggested donation tiers. These help honor the depth of what is shared and allow us to fundraise in support of our greater mission.
There is no obligation and no pressure.
Each member is free to give as they feel moved.
You are not expected to pay to belong.
You are simply invited to honor what you receive.
All donations are tax-deductible in the U.S.
Vedika Global, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Community Agreements
This is a space for sincere seekers. By honoring a few simple guidelines, you help keep the Vedic Study Circle peaceful, focused, and open to all.
Disruptive or harmful behavior isn’t tolerated. Those who go against the spirit of the teachings may be asked to leave—so the collective journey stays steady and sacred.
