Siddha Kunjika Stotram: The Unlocking Prayer
An Online Weekend Immersion:
Nov 1st and 2nd, 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM Both Days *
You are invited to two evenings with Acharya Shunya to learn the sound-body, meaning, and living practice of this celebrated Goddess prayer: The Siddha Kunjika Stotram
In two gentle yet powerful evenings, experience the Siddha Kunjika Stotram with Acharya Shunya—listen to its sacred vibration, receive Advaita insights, and be guided in an inner experience of this stotram so you can carry it into daily life. Even listening once is considered a rare blessing, opening the same fruit as chanting the 700 verses of the Devi Mahatmya.
Sanskrit
गोपनीयं प्रयत्नेन स्वयोनिरिव पार्वति।
मारणं मोहनं वश्यं स्तम्भनोच्चाटनादिकम्।
Transliteration:
gopanīyaṁ prayatnena svayonir iva pārvati |
māraṇaṁ mohanaṁ vaśyaṁ stambhanoccāṭanādikam ||
Meaning:
“O Parvati, this Kunjika Stotram must be kept secret and sacred, like one’s own most private part (Vagina, the Yoni). For it holds the power to slay ignorance, bewilder the ego, subdue the unruly mind, still the restless thought currents, and banish the inner enemies of desire, anger, and delusion.”
* These sessions occur across the Daylight Savings time change in the US. If you live in an area that does not change the clocks, the Sunday session will happen 1 HOUR LATER in your time zone.

Siddha Kunjika Stotram – Online Immersion
The Siddha Kunjika Stotram is a concise yet immensely potent hymn revealed by Lord Shiva to Goddess Parvati. Preserved in the Rudra Yamala Tantra, it is called the Siddha Kunjika—the “divine key”—because it unlocks the fruits of the Devi Mahatmya or Durga Saptashati, the celebrated scripture of 700 verses praising the Goddess.
In traditional Navratri practice and daily puja to Shakti, devotees chant the Durga Saptashati every day, comprising in total 700 verses. The Kunjika Stotram carries the very seed essence of those 700 verses. To listen to it with devotion is to receive the same awakening grace, distilled into the language of pure mantra.
In this two-part immersion, Acharya Shunya will guide you through the entire Siddha Kunjika Stotram over two evenings.
Together, we will:
-
Chant the verses in Sanskrit.
-
Explore their meaning in English.
-
Receive esoteric Vedantic insights on the Goddess as inner Shakti, not just outer deity.
-
Practice simple contemplations that make the teachings alive in the heart.
This immersion condenses what would traditionally unfold across seven satsangs into two extended sessions, honoring the rhythm of the scripture while allowing modern seekers to experience its transformative power in a complete way.
Join us for this rare transmission and discover why the Kunjika Stotram has been called the hidden key to the Goddess—a key that opens not just the scripture, but the door to Shakti herself, dwelling as your own Self.

FAQ
Will recordings be available?
No. This teaching is offered live only. The Siddha Kunjika Stotram is considered a secret and sacred transmission that must be received directly, in real time. If you feel called, rearrange your schedule, stay awake if you must—let this be your offering to the Goddess. Even a single live listening is said to bestow the blessing of 700 verses.
Will this immersion be offered again?
We do not know. Acharya Shunya is offering the Siddha Kunjika Stotram teaching publicly for the very first time in over 30 years. Whether she will be moved by the Goddess to teach it again is uncertain. For now, this is a rare and perhaps once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to receive the “Divine Key” directly, live.
Can I Invite Friends or Family?
This immersion is not open to the general public. It is reserved for those who have completed at least one full nine-day Navratri celebration with us in the past — ideally in 2024, 2025, or earlier years.
Only students who have previously journeyed through the foundational Shakti Sadhana as unfolded by Acharya Shunya are ready to receive this next level of transmission. Without that prior deepening, the experience may not integrate as intended.
Why is there a minimum offering? Why not free?
Teachings from the Shakta tradition, especially secret transmissions like the Siddha Kunjika Stotram, are never offered free. In the law of karma, when something sacred is received without an offering, an imbalance is created both for the giver and the receiver. Your dakshina (donation) restores balance. It honors the Goddess, it supports the teacher, and it plants a karmic seed that allows the teaching to truly bear fruit in your life. To receive without giving would block the blessing. This is why there is a minimum offering: not as a price, but as a karmic exchange that keeps the wisdom alive in dignity.
What if I truly don’t have the funds right now?
If you sincerely wish to join but do not have the resources at this time, consider this an opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Goddess. In the Shakta tradition, when we make a heartfelt prayer, the Mother often opens unexpected doors. You may find the means through a friend, a small loan, or sudden grace.
If you cannot join this time…
Stay close to the teacher and the living lineage through the freewill donation based Vedic Study Circle. There, you can receive authentic wisdom and continue to grow in the light of Shakti, until abundance flows into your life. In the mystery of time, when you are ready and resourced, Acharya will teach this again—perhaps just for you. The Goddess arranges such meetings with uncanny grace. Trust that your moment will come.
How to Prepare for This Immersion
-
Attitude of Reverence
Come with an open heart and beginner’s mind. This is not an academic class but a sacred transmission. Approach with the humility of a seeker and the receptivity of a devotee. -
Create a Quiet Space
Set aside a calm place in your home, free from distractions. You may wish to light a candle, place flowers, or create a small altar with an image of the Goddess—simple is enough. -
Food & Body
Eat lightly beforehand, so your body feels clear and alert. If possible, avoid heavy or intoxicating foods or drinks on the day of the immersion. Some like to keep a simple sattvic diet (fresh, pure, plant-based foods) during sacred study. -
Sacred Timing
Please arrive on time and plan to stay the full session. Remember, there are no recordings. Even if you must stay up late in your time zone, treat this as a tapas (sacred effort) and offering to the Goddess. -
Participation
You do not need prior knowledge of Sanskrit or mantra. You will be gently guided in listening, repeating sounds, and simple pronunciation practice. Participation is about sincerity, not perfection. -
Journal or Notebook
Bring a journal to capture insights
