Acharya Shunya and Chef Sanjai
Welcome
Join us for a transformative 5-day detox program led by Ayurveda expert Acharya Shunya and renowned Ayurvedic chef Sanjai at Sivananda Bahamas. This immersive experience has become so popular that it returns year after year, drawing participants who seek profound rejuvenation for both body and mind.

More Than a Detox – A Soulful Journey
This 5-day experience is full of
unexpected blessings:

Evening Exhale Circles
Cook with the Masters
Treasured Recipe Book
Held in a Sacred Place
Each evening after dinner, we gather in a quiet circle to reflect and receive guidance. Acharya Shunya shares insights on how the mind, emotions, and spirit can either support or block the body’s healing. These sessions help you release inner tension and align with your body’s natural intelligence. Many say their real detox began here—where wisdom met the soul.
Each afternoon, you’ll join Acharya Shunya and Chef Sanjai in the teaching kitchen—learning not just recipes, but ancient food wisdom. Every ingredient and spice is explained with care, so you can recreate these healing meals back home.
You’ll receive a lovingly prepared recipe book, filled with the same dishes you’ve eaten, cooked, and enjoyed. It’s a gift of health that keeps on giving. Hereonwards, you can eat these healing recipes, any time, in the comfort of your own kitchen!
We gather at the Sivananda Ashram, surrounded by the sea in the Bahamas. The setting, filled with chants, meditation, and stillness, supports your transformation at every level.

More Than Just Khichidi~
Forget the usual monotonous detox meals! This program introduces you to 20 new, specially curated recipes not available in any book or online. Each ingredient is carefully selected to work in harmony, purifying your body with every bite.

Why is the Detox so Effective?

This detox is not just about cleansing the surface; it's about purifying rasa dhatu—the foundational tissue layer in Ayurveda responsible for nourishing all other tissues in the body.
When rasa dhatu is cleansed, it sets off a ripple effect, rejuvenating every part of your body, from your blood to your muscles, bones, and even your reproductive tissues. This deep level of purification impacts all 30 trillion cells.
