Goddess Unbound Membership Policies
1. Membership and Billing
Goddess Unbound is offered as either a monthly or annual recurring membership.
Monthly Membership: $95 per month, automatically renewed each month until canceled.
Annual Membership: $950 for twelve months, automatically renewed annually until canceled, unless the checkout page expressly identifies the plan as non-renewing.
For the Founding Circle, no payment will be collected at the time a participant initially reserves her place. The first payment will be processed on January 3, 2027, when access to the private Goddess Unbound portal begins.
By enrolling, the member authorizes the selected payment method to be charged on January 3, 2027, and thereafter according to the recurring schedule of the selected plan.
Membership enrollment closes on December 31, 2026, or earlier if the Founding Circle reaches capacity.
Your card will not be charged today. Your first payment will be processed on January 3, 2027, when access to the private portal begins. Thereafter, your membership will renew automatically according to the plan you select until canceled.
2. Cancellation
Members may cancel their membership through the My Subscriptions area of the Acharya Shunya website, or by following the cancellation instructions provided at checkout and in the confirmation email.
Cancellation prevents the next recurring charge. Unless otherwise stated, membership access continues through the end of the period already paid for.
Members are responsible for canceling before their next billing date if they do not wish to be charged for the next membership period.
Wix supports self-service cancellation through a member’s My Subscriptions page when that option is enabled.
3. Refund Policy
Payments already processed are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly approved in exceptional circumstances.
Canceling a membership does not create a refund for the current monthly or annual membership period. It prevents future renewal charges.
No refunds or credits will ordinarily be given for:
-
Missed live gatherings
-
Failure to use the portal, recordings, forum, or other membership benefits
-
Scheduling conflicts
-
A member’s personal decision to discontinue participation during a paid period
-
Suspension or termination resulting from a material or repeated breach of the Community Guidelines
If Goddess Unbound permanently ends a paid membership period for reasons unrelated to a member’s conduct, the team may provide an appropriate prorated refund or comparable alternative.
This final sentence is important. It prevents the policy from appearing one-sided or unfair.
4. Community Conduct
Goddess Unbound is intended to be a respectful spiritual learning community. Members agree to participate with dignity, maturity, and consideration for others.
Members may not:
-
Harass, threaten, demean, shame, or personally attack another participant
-
Discriminate against another participant
-
Repeatedly disrupt live gatherings or community discussions
-
Solicit members for unrelated businesses, services, personal in-person meetups, political campaigns, fundraising, or personal projects without written permission
-
Share another member’s personal disclosures, photographs, contact details, or identifying information outside the Circle
-
Record, reproduce, distribute, sell, or publicly share teachings, recordings, screenshots, written materials, or forum discussions
-
Share portal passwords, Zoom links, or membership access with non-members
-
Present themselves as authorized teachers or representatives of Acharya Shunya, Goddess Unbound, or the lineage without express authorization
Spiritual disagreement, thoughtful questioning, and respectful differences of perspective are welcome. The guidelines are not intended to demand personal conformity or unquestioning agreement.
That sentence protects the dignity of the teaching while avoiding the impression of authoritarian control.
5. Confidentiality and Privacy Within the Circle
Members are expected to treat personal disclosures made by other women in live gatherings or in the private forum as confidential.
Members may speak about their own experience and learning, but they may not identify, quote, describe, or disclose another member’s personal story without her clear permission.
Although the team will establish and enforce community expectations, complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in any online group. Each participant should use discernment when sharing sensitive personal information.
6. Suspension or Termination
The Goddess Unbound team may respond to a reported concern by offering guidance, issuing a warning, temporarily suspending access, or terminating membership, depending upon the seriousness and circumstances of the conduct.
Immediate suspension or termination may occur in cases involving threats, harassment, discrimination, deliberate breaches of confidentiality, unauthorized distribution of protected materials, fraudulent access, or conduct that places another participant or the community at risk.
Where reasonably appropriate, the member will be informed of the concern and given an opportunity to respond before a final decision is made.
A material or repeated violation of these policies may result in suspension or termination without refund of payments already processed, to the extent permitted by law.
This graduated process is wiser than giving yourself unrestricted authority to remove anyone without explanation.
7. Recordings and Membership Access
Recordings of eligible live teachings will be made available through the private portal.
Recordings remain accessible only while the member’s membership is active, unless a particular offering expressly states otherwise.
Not every gathering, discussion, question-and-answer period, breakout session, or personal sharing segment is guaranteed to be recorded or included in the replay.
Membership materials are provided for the registered member’s personal study only and may not be copied, downloaded where downloading is disabled, publicly shared, taught, republished, or commercially used without written permission.
8. Educational and Spiritual Nature of the Program
This teaching is rooted in the living Goddess traditions of Hindu Sanatana Dharma, including Vedic, Puranic, Tantric, yogic, and Vedantic wisdom. Women of every faith, and women of no formal faith, are welcome. No conversion or adoption of Goddess worship is expected. Mantra, contemplation, and devotional practices are offered as invitations, and each participant remains free to discern her own relationship with them.
Goddess Unbound is a spiritual and educational program. It is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, psychiatric treatment, crisis intervention, or a substitute for professional healthcare.
The teachings may include reflection upon personal experiences, emotions, relationships, spiritual life, and patterns of thought or behavior. Members remain responsible for their own choices, wellbeing, and decisions.
Participants experiencing significant psychological distress, medical concerns, trauma symptoms, or an immediate crisis should seek support from an appropriately qualified professional.
9. Changes to Schedule or Program
Dates, teachers, themes, or program details may occasionally change because of illness, emergencies, technological disruptions, religious observances, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
When a material change occurs, members will be informed as soon as reasonably possible. The team may offer a rescheduled gathering, substitute teaching, recording, or another reasonable alternative.
Minor changes to the order of themes or supporting materials do not create a right to a refund.
10. Changes to These Policies
The policies governing a member’s billing, renewal, and cancellation at the time of purchase will apply to that purchase unless a change is required by law or affirmatively accepted by the member.
Community and operational guidelines may be reasonably updated to protect members, clarify expectations, or support the functioning of the Circle. Material changes will be communicated to active members.
This protects members from having the financial terms silently changed after enrollment.
