Lineage Head · Advaita Vedanta Teacher · Author of Three Books ·
Nearly Three Decades of Teaching

Born into the Sarayu Parampara of Ayodhya, Acharya Shunya began studying Advaita Vedanta, the Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Goddess wisdom, Yoga, and Ayurveda with her guru and grandfather at the age of nine.

Today, she serves as the first female head of this ancient lineage. For nearly three decades, she has guided seekers through scriptural study, spiritual practice, Self-inquiry, and conscious living. Some students have remained in study with her for thirty years.

Path

Where Should You Begin?

Acharya Shunya offers several doorways into Vedic wisdom.

The right place to begin depends upon what you are seeking and how deeply you are ready to study.

For Those Seeking the Deeper Wisdom of Yoga

Go beyond Yoga as physical practice and discover its deeper purpose: the transformation of the mind, the awakening of devotion, and the recognition of the Self.

Through live satsangs, meditation, sacred texts, the Four Yogas, and contemplative study, Acharya Shunya offers several ways to enter the Vedic path. Begin freely, explore the open teachings, experience a month of live study, or enter the Inner Mandala for sustained guidance.

For Those Drawn to the
Divine Feminine

Enter the Goddess teachings if you feel called to explore Shakti as a living power of courage, wisdom, emotional truth, inner authority, and spiritual transformation.

Through Navratri, the Thresholds of Shakti, Goddess Unbound, and other teachings, Acharya Shunya brings the wisdom of the Vedic Goddesses into contemporary life. Some offerings welcome all seekers, while others provide a dedicated space for women.

You May Choose Both

The Vedic and Goddess teachings are not competing paths. One reveals the deeper purpose of Yoga through devotion, meditation, Self-inquiry, and sacred living. The other approaches transformation through Shakti and the wisdom of the Vedic Goddesses.

Many seekers feel called to both. Begin with the doorway that speaks most directly to you now.
