Jai Maa and Jai Guru Deva🙏🏻

I feel the urge to share this question here in the community forum as I feel it would spark a deep reflection and conversation among us all. If this is not the right space for this question can someone please indicate the right way to ask the question directly to our beloved Guru? I live in Italy, so unfortunately I am not able to join most of the meetings live.

This question arises from a personal situation but I believe it can interest us all as spiritual seekers. Here it is.

What is the right action, the right thing to do, when a person really close to you, like a parent, justifies and really believes that the genocide of innocent children, like what is happening in Palestine, is right? What is the right way to go on living and sharing your life with a person with these beliefs? I feel that is really hard, as for a daughter her father is ideally her greatest hero, but in my case I now feel shame and rejection.

How can I be enlightened and enlight such people?

I offer my gratitude to everyone that will come back my an answer🙏🏻

I appreciate this question and the feedback it has received so far. I too have a difficult parent. I lean on our Dear Guru’s words, that we must have compassion for the sleepwalkers in our lives. And I’m looking forward to exploring the teachings of the 5 relationships we must honor that was previewed in this weeks Karma Yoga session.
