Jai Maa!

During this morning’s meditation, I had a different thought.  We usually think of our mind being in our body.  My thought this morning was that my body was in my mind. The garment I sensed on my skin and my skin was in my mind. My back and head were in my mind. The floor in front of me was in my mind, expanding further out the table and chairs were in my mind.  I kept moving further out in my surroundings taking in the neighborhood, it was in my mind.  I kept going expanding to the horizon, thinking this, too, is in my mind.

Then I shifted and thought my mind is in my awareness and I just held it there and there was no where else to go.  This mind is a fabulous tool that brings me so much angst and joy in any given moment and I can just hold it in my awareness with gratitude for its prowess; its competence, expertise, dexterity, and its valor and daring that keeps me exploring on this path. It was all in my mind. Held in my awareness.
