I am listening to Shunya ji’s Whispers from the Eternal podcast series on YouTube. I was touched by how our Guru ji frames the idea of the Divine in the mundane. Perhaps that moment in which I caught myself being too quick to judge someone was Maa Lakshmi, beckoning me to open my heart to a place of abundant love. Perhaps the sliver of courage that shined through my self-doubt was Maa Durga, calling me to roar with potential. Perhaps my reaction of pain upon seeing the suffering of another being was Lord Rama, pushing me to use my various positions of privilege for the good of all beings. 💖
