Please join us this Sunday, February 15th at 5pm PT for our first gathering of the Kula Circle: A Monthly Disciple Gathering Guided by Lineage Themes

This first Kula Circle will be part of a monthly Zoom gathering for disciples of the lineage held on the third Sunday of the month at 5pm PT.

Themes are offered by Acharya Shunya and explored together through guided discussion led by a Sadasya Devi Priya, under the overall support of the Sadhvis.

These circles are contemplative, relational, and rooted in the Parampara. They are meant to support integration, clarity, and connection among students, rather than formal instruction.

​The Guru teaches in many ways. Sometimes through words, and sometimes through the circle that holds them.

February 4th, the birthday/ Janma Tithi of Baba Ayodhyanath ji, is always a very auspicious and reverent day in our lineage and kula. We will gather for our monthly Atma Dance on this special day and reflect upon the light and legacy of Baba.

We will honor all of the gifts that we continually receive from his wisdom and teachings. This session will be a wonderful way to start your day before we gather in the evening with our Acharya. I look forward to seeing you there!

With the budding and blossoming of Spring, there is an abundance of opportunities within our kula for in person study with Acharya Shunya ji. April 17-19, Acharya Shunya ji will be hosting a workshop titled; Awaken Your Abundance with Goddess Lakshmi. I will be joining this in person event and I look forward to be the assistant teacher. I was fortunate to assist Acharya Shunya ji two years ago at Kripalu. Her Goddess teachings at the nation's largest retreat center are still alive in me.

The transmissions that I received from her during my time at Kripalu imprinted so much shakti. Kripalu has such a solid foundation and accomdations in place, with a delicious Ayurveda inspired cafe serving fresh and nutritious food. The theme for this month of April is Awaken Your Inner Abundance with Goddess Lakshmi! In synergy with Acharya Shunya ji's in person event at Kriplau later this month, Maa Lakshmi is calling us forward to value ourselves and to treasure the blessings in our lives.

As we celebrate the onset of Spring, Mother Nature's rebirth and renewal, Goddess Lakshmi is inviting us all to take the sacred time to explore and align with the beautiful depth of our inner landscape. Blessings to you in the beginning days of March! I am very excited to be hosting Atma Dance online tomorrow, 12-1pm PST where we will be exploring the Ayurvedic Panchamahabhutas: The Five Great Elements that are within us all. We will explore each element and how it is alive within us and around us. It will be a lovely way to move your body, connect within and bring some joy into your day!

Currently we are transitioning from late Winter to early Spring, and this transitory phase is known known as ritu sandhi. Atma Dance is a beautiful way to move your body and shake off the Winter heaviness, just as Spring suggests us to do. Here in Northern California, it's so amazing to witness Mother Earth gift us blooming Magnolia and Cherry blossom trees, and golden daffodils at this time of year. We are ready…

What an absoultely heartwarming and soulful celebration that we had earlier today ccelebrating Baba Ayodhyanath's 125th arrival on earth! I look forward to the second session honoring Baba very shortly. I was in complete awe and reverence while hearing Acharya Shunya ji, Baba's family members and long time sadasya's personal reflections on his long lasting legacy. The love and Bhakti shared felt so pure and true.

I am bringing these heart enhancing frequencies to our Atma Dance companion study tomorrow at 12pm, PST. Together, we will continue to celebrate the great fortune of being spiritual seekers illuminated by the knowledge of the Truth! I’m sharing the amazing news that there is a new opportunity to be in person with Acharya Shunya ji this Summer!  She is accompanying the legendary kirtan artist Krishna Das and other luminary teachers in Boone, North Carolina, August 15th-19th at the Ram Das Summer Mountain Legacy Retreat IV!  

Sadasyas could join together as a traveling kula to be with our Guru/Teacher amidst beautiful settings.  I’ve had the great honor of traveling with Acharya Shunya ji to Omega Retreat Center and Kripalu, and each trip felt like a very auspicious transmigration where the teachings and experience imprinted profound wisdom and peace unto my being.  Sitting at the feet of our Teacher in person and receiving her wisdom directly into our heart and mind is always an life changing experience full of joy, gratitude, and inspiration!

As we wrap up the end of 2024, and begin a New Year in 2025, I’m filled with so much gratitude!  During this Yule/Winter Solstice sacred time, I’m sitting in the darkness and contemplating on what 2024 illuminated and brought into my life~The growth of our sangha Kula, the depth of Bhakti Yoga teachings, the jewel of Bhaja Govindam teachings, companion study classes of Samsara Surfers and Nirvana Shatakam, another Navratri 9 day and night journey, a Vedic Study Circle Kula meet and greet, and more!  Welcoming so many new students and hearing your shares and experiences has illuminated more light and has deepened our commitment to leading a sattvic life!

What a wonderful community Kula Sangha session yesterday. It never fails to amaze me that we can gather from all over the world in different lands and time zones and yet create community. Thank you Acharya Shunya for making this time for us and for everyone who helped to create it and who attended it. I learn so much from everyone’s journeys and insights. I felt uplifted in Maa and the energy has followed me into today as well. Blessings!

Can you all feel the buzzing excitement and shakti in the air? We all have so much to look forward this week with;

Acharya Shunya ji's Baja Govindam ongoing study on Thursday, 9/26 at 7am PST, followed by Sadhvi Ishani's first companion study Nirvana Shatakam class at 11am Indian Standard Time (do your own time conversion, it’s 10:30pm on 9/25 PST).

Then on Saturday, 9/28 we have our Kula Sangha Session with Acharya Shunya ji from 8am-10am. And for those who have signed up, we have an Introductory Navratri Session with Sadhvi Aparna from 12pm-1pm PST. What a week of insightfully curated Vedic wisdom for all of us to enjoy and revere in!

We will gather together to connect, share and chant from our hearts.  It will be a beautiful opportunity to honor and celebrate our good fortune for being part of this sacred Sangha community.

We have time for 2-3 Sadasya’s to share their personal experiences of being in our sangha through their art form; musical talents, songs, poetry or writing (around 5 minutes each).
