I found today's episode of Whispers From the Eternal podcast pertinent for my own experiences over the last several months. Grappling with the truth that actions, however pious or dharmic or 'spiritual', do not guarantee enlightenment.
The theme of today's teaching from Acharya Shunya is "When Effort Ends, the Divine Begins". Acharya ji talks about that subtle material bondage that still occurs as we hold onto worldly attachments and expectations within even our spiritual sadhana. When we sit with guru, in devotion to Ishwara, and listen deeply, (without 'spiritually bypassing') we may find ourselves experiencing and embodying the Divine deeply.
