Powerful words lead to clarity in Samatvam
There are moments in my studentship when our Guruji speaks and my ego sits down and my Atman says, "yes, this is the truth-clear as a the light of a 🔥candle in a dark room."
There was one such statement shared this past week in Karma Yoga session 31 at minute 35
"You are a spiritual being and spirituality is your business."
I need these clear instructions because my ego can make up a lot of stories. Even after hearing this I thought "should I make new business cards so everyone can know I am in the spirituality business?" Then, I remembered the teachings on shastra vasana and world vasana. My ego settled down and my true self Atma reminded me that the excitement I feel is from the uncovering of this truth I have always known. To hear it said and to hear it by a guru is the blessing.
I recall how in the Acharyaopasam chapter of Walking With Dharma the gift of having a guru to remind us of our truth is so systematically laid out. I am grateful for this new piece of literature. Jai Maa Jaiu Gurudev.
