Bhargo - the purifying light
Jai Maa all! From our Navodaya retreat day the word that picked me was Bhargo from the Gayatri Mantra. I feel much of our karma yoga teachings were leading me to bhargo - letting go of "stuff" , ideas about the small self, patterns that don't serve the Higher Self, relationships that were pleasant until they weren't. Bhargo is the light of the inner sun that cleanses and clarifies, removing ignorance, the light that heals. This light burns away impurities - Shunyaji asked "what have you been putting up with? And is it clean, is it your Truth, is it real? And this is the year to get rid of what is weighing me down. What is clouding my Light? To incinerate these in the Light of my Bhargo! Shunyaji continues - where was dust, clutter, and sediment - now there's big Bhargo! Say it with power, and I have been when I chant the Gayatri. This is the year for purification. Shunyaji's words "there is a lot of support coming your way. Clear the space to experience your inner Light, your inner joy.
The image I'm sharing is called Anima Sola (lonely soul), it's an image I grew up with and today I see it telling me to burn up what doesn't serve, break those chains, incinerate them and walk into the Light of Bhargo!
