Whispers from the Eternal - Episode 12 out now
Jai Maa and Jai Guru Deva,
In Acharya Shunya's most recent episode of the
Whispers from the Eternal podcast "Becoming the Lamp: When Bhakti Matures into Surrender", our teacher shares her evolving devotional relationship with the Divine.
“This is the flowering of Bhakti where prayer dissolves and only the presence remains. No preferences only surrender only peace. No doer, only divine. No separation, only God.”
It is possible to grow from begging God to change the outer circumstances of our life, to asking That to strengthen the inner circumstances of our mind and heart to endure the outer circumstances, and finally to come to a quieter still space of surrender and acceptance of what Is. What IS then (all of the events that happen to us, for us, around us) is Ishwara.
My relationship with G.O.D. most often reflects gratitude for a separate experience of That which is holding me completely, and stabilizing me internally, with more and more moments of inner union and awareness. But it is comforting and inspiring to know that it is possible to be in a deep and uninterrupted surrender to That Truth. No separation, only God.
What did this Whisper evoke in you?
In Sacred Surrender,
Sadhvi Aparna

Jai Maa all - such a beautiful surrender Shunyaji gave here. This Whisper evoked in me to be in the flow of what life is giving you. When my sister, Judy was dealing with cancer and then with hospice for 9 nines before she passed, I was with her and I had no more prayers of she'll get better, only that she be comfortable and at peace. That was my prayer and remains my prayer today whenever a loved one is going through the phases we go through in this life. It is always in Ishwara's hands. Thank you Shunyaji for your words of peace. AUM
