Navodaya 2026 Divination Draw
Jai Maa! Thanks to everyone who participated in the Navodaya 2026 retreat. During the sharing circle I did not yet have the words to express my experience. Later that day they did come. This is my reflection to share with you:
Divination Draw
Drawing the number one: Tat
Listening to my guru's explanation, excited and reassured,
my inner voice expressed love for this word.
Later, while pondering our chosen words,
the tenticles of foggy doubt crept into my small self's mind,
blurring my initial vision, and suggesting I couldn't possibly
know anything about this word.
But Guruji's guiding light reflected within me.
Right then I chose to live in rememberance of this
greater Truth, Tat.
I opened my palm, exposing this sly and slippery doubt creature
to the gaze of Truth.
It transformed into a deep warmth of gentle contentment,
provided by Maa's embrace.
Jai Maa! Jai Guru Dev! 🙏
Thank you for this reflection. I too picked "tat" and my ego had some similar questions- "can we really be this bold?" "is this safe?" "what about......" and then I rocked my ego as Shunyaji described Baba sharing re how a mom rocks her baby and a calm came over me. I trust I will need to nurture that little ego a lot as I step into this powerful word.
