Navodaya- New Dawn
I feel so blessed to be able to attend the Navodaya retreat yesterday and receive the enlightening teachings from Shunya ji and listen to other sadasyas in the community and their experiences.
Shunya ji talks about sangha (the journey of walking together towards the same goal while the journey being so personal)! That is how I felt yesterday. The duality of experience of being a part of the community while being comfortably alone in the journey to home!
Shunya ji description of the divination ceremony being a guidance for yet another year to find our way home, to the deepest sense of existence was beautiful and reassuring. I really also want to thank Sadhya Atmajyoti for the Atma Art experience. I don't see myself as someone creative but his encouragement to see my hands as 'Ma's' hands, the divine mother as the doer, I am just the vehicle was a beautiful way to let go of any illusion of control or ego based doubts around my lack of creativity! I ended up drawing a sunflower and writing the following words describing it! It was effortless:
Sunflower who looks to the sun!
Sunflower who trusts the sun!
Sunflower who blooms fearlessly!
Sunflower who shines bright in her own beauty
Sunflower who is fearless!
I want to thank our teacher Shunya ji, the sadhvis and Sadhayas for creating this safe and compassionate space for us to walk this journey together! Jai Maa Jai Gurudeva
