 Jai Maa!

In contemplation, this morning I found myself thinking that there always seem to be multiple interpretations of our given teachings; literal, simple meaning, hints or allegorical meaning, interpretive meaning and secret or mystical meaning.  I have to admit that when our luminary, our teacher reveals the latter, this wisdom, my heart sings, “Yes, yes!”

Moving on, the first stanza of Bhaja Govindam seems to be implanted in my thoughts, spontaneously arising throughout the day:

Bhaja Govindam, Bhaja Govindam

Govindam Bhaja, muda mate

This touches the very essence of my soul, is a connector to that which precedes everything, naturally, instinctively revealing something essential within that seems to govern my relationship with Ishvara. Archarya Shunya’s words and gaze possess the unique quality of clarifying my power of imagination, revealing hidden depths in my heart, and her guidance evokes faith of possibility in these teachings and connection to the One.

The most recent teaching is constant in passing down the foundation of love for every person, joy in the service of Ishvara and the belief that one can serve Ishvara in everything, for she is present everywhere. I carry this wisdom with me, treading this secure path knowing it inspires my actions often without even realizing it. I am filled with gratitude for my teacher, this lineage and the deep faith it provokes.
