Trust in the guru and parampara

Jai Maa.

I was reflecting today, how a year ago when I entered this gurukulum, I really had no idea what was in store for me, what gifts this satsanga would give me.

It indeed, as Guruji explains in Chapter 1 of Walking with Dharma, was the words and teachings of the guru lived and passed down by those who had lived it before, that kept me here. There was so much I did not truly understand at that time.

After a year of listening, studying and contemplating - of staying because of the clear teaching, the truly lived teachings, the integrity, the sincerity that shown through, even before I truly understood why.

I am finally beginning to understand consciously why to keep staying. I feel my own lived experience of practice clarifying and integrating in my own life what I have seen modeled and heard taught.

And I ask myself "who is waking up?" And I reply Idam Na Mama. Ishvara is waking up this jiva.

I know there is so much more to be clarified, but tonight I celebrate and hold close to my heart these teachings, our teacher and her teacher (the entire paramparam) who because they practiced and applied what they learned created a real authentic lineage that shows us the way.

This whole offering is so complete and gives us so many opportunities to study and practice in various ways.

In deep gratitude. Jai Maa Jai Guru Dev
