Journey to Self
Recently I got to hear Shunya ji's The Shadow and Spiritual Bypassing series and it was so reassuring. The journey to self for me has often been a mirror image of how I generally live my life which was quite intriguing. Culturally I was always taught to project out a image which may not be authentic but has to be socially acceptable! Even the spirituality I grew up with was more dogmatic and ritualistic. So hearing Shunya speak about spiritual bypassing and how often our journey to self is also overshadowed by this was quite eye opening for me! I am not exactly quoting what she said, but one of things that resonated for me deeply from her transmission was that a person who is on a journey to self is like a blank canvas, open to grace and faith on the divine order of things, believing in Yajna and the cosmic order yajna! This was so powerful for me, especially when spirituality also sometimes becomes a social projection! She mentioned about a structured approach to identify the shadow and signs of bypassing and take a path of compassion and mindful deliberation towards clarity and your deepest self! I realized that Sadhvi Aparna will be bringing teachings about the same path through her Sadhaka Sadhana session and I am truly looking forward to this journey of delving deeper! Jai Maa Jai Gurudeva!
