Honoring Tataji

Dearest Shunaji,

My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. It has taken me some time to write because I struggled to find the right words for my Āchārya, from whom I learn Vedic wisdom and the art of right living. Though you and your father have been in my thoughts all along, today I put my sentiments into words.

The relationship you shared with your father was so deeply touching and admirable. Each time you spoke about him and your conversations with him, there was a radiant spark within you, and I cherished every word because behind it was pure love and reverence. I know he was far more than a father to you—he held the roles of father, mother, and so much more.

I read your email titled ' Honoring Our Lineage Elder’s Passing' where you shared tender moments from the after-death rituals, along with photos from his Shraddhāñjali , and the video of him speaking at the release of Sovereign Self. His words stayed with me—especially when he said, “When I see Shunya, I see my father and grandfather in her.”

You live and teach the Sanātana Dharma that they lived and embodied. In upholding that Dharma and sharing it so widely, you carry your family’s torch and legacy forward. And in countless homes – just like in mine - people will glowingly speak of how Shunaji and her teachings transformed their lives and brought them closer to Ishwara.

May Ishvara’s anugraha, light, love, wisdom, and joy always be with you and your family.

In divine friendship and forever-grateful devotion,

Meena
