'Shunya Speaks' Auspicious Start

Dear Respected Sadasyas of the Vedic Spiritual Community,

Makar Sankranti Blessings

Makar Sankranti blessings to each of you. This beloved annual Vedic celebration, observed on January 14th, holds a special place in our Sarayu Parampara. It honors the sacred synergy between the Earth’s journey toward the Sun and our own journey toward inner illumination. This auspicious time invites us to elevate our spiritual awareness, renew our spirit, and realign with our highest Selves.

As Acharya Shunya ji has beautifully shared, “Just as the sun rises each day, so can we rise with renewed resolve to embrace our inner light and potential.”Jai Maa & Jai Guru Deva!

Have you ever listened to Acharya Shunya ji and felt as though she was speaking directly to your Atma—offering exactly what you needed to hear at that moment? When she shares a potent one-liner or a short passage, does it feel as though an instant reclamation is imprinted within you? Have you ever wished for a sacred collection of her most powerful quotes—gathered in one divine space that you could return to again and again?

If you answered yes to any of these, you are not alone. This shared inspiration is what has given rise to a new seva initiative.

Newly Launched: Shunya Speaks Seva Project (SSSP)

On this auspicious day we are delighted to share the launch of Shunya Speaks, a seva project devoted to collecting and preserving gems of Acharya Shunya ji’s wisdom teachings. These selections may come from her books, live or recorded teachings, podcasts, interviews, or other authentic sources from her past or present offerings.

Throughout 2026, our intention is to gather a rich and curated collection of quotes and short passages. This collection may eventually take form as a daily or yearly reflection book, or another inspired creative expression. While the final format is yet to be determined, the purpose remains clear: to uplift, inspire, and illuminate humanity through the living wisdom of our Guru’s words.

Acharya Shunya ji’s unique and dynamic voice echoes across continents, and within our Sarayu Parampara we are blessed with dedicated students who listen deeply and reflect mindfully. A curated collection of her teachings can support our daily Vedic practice of mananam—contemplating and assimilating sacred wisdom. When we each offer what speaks to our hearts, we weave together a luminous tapestry reflecting the brilliance of her speech and The Ultimate Truth of the Vedas.

We also feel inspired to echo our lineage teachings to an even wider audience, including spiritual seekers who have yet to encounter her wisdom. Wouldn’t it be marvelous to expand access to these teachings while remaining fully faithful to their original spirit and intention? With a collection of quotes formed into a book, numerous benefits could manifest—such as expanding our community and highlighting the creative shakti we share in sacred space. In addition to its devotional purpose, this seva carries the potential to become a future fundraising offering—allowing the light of our Guru’s words to support the flourishing of our kula and the wider dissemination of lineage teachings.

How to Contribute

Participation is entirely voluntary, and all submissions will be respectfully reviewed by the seva team. You are welcome to contribute as often as you feel called throughout 2026. Submissions may include brief quotes or longer passages—anything you feel invites deep contemplation.
